The #1 Way to Smoke
Bongs have been popular with smokers for hundreds of years due to their smooth hits. The water filtering system inside cools the smoke to allow you to enjoy rich smooth without harsh burns or coughing.

What Is a Water Pipe?
They are a device used to cool and clean the smoke from cannabis, allowing you to inhale a smoother hit. Everyone will have a bowl that holds the cannabis, a downstem to carry the smoke into the water in the base then through, and a mouthpiece for the user to finally inhale it.
They can come in many shapes, sizes, materials and color allowing for you to find your perfect piece.
Components of a Water Pipe
Downstem
A downstem is a long tube with two open ends which pulls the smoke through the water. Though the downstem is a removable, some have this as a non-removable component and are referred to as fixed downstems.
A downstem can be made from metal, silicone or glass. If you have any questions on how to measure a downstem please contact us.
Ice Pinch
If you are looking for a cooler hit, you may want to try ice. An ice pinch can give you a smoother smoking session because the vapor that reaches your mouth is further cooler. .
Splash Guard
The last thing you want while smoking is the water to splash on your lips and spoil the whole mood. The splash guard helps give you an additional layer of water filtration. Its slits filter any water particles and send them back to the base of your water pipe.
Bowl
The bong bowl is where you'll put your favorite tasty weed. They come in many different styles but most will have some kind of handle to keep your fingers from burning. There are two common joint sizes, 18mm & 14mm.
What to Look for When you Buy a Water Pipe Online
Size
You don't want to buy a piece that's too big when you have storage limitations. An oversized pipe can give you more trouble than it's worth. Mini water pipes are easy to manage and less fragile when compared to large ones.
However, a big hitter can be perfect if you are well-versed with the right techniques for holding it and using the ice pinch. If you are just a beginner, a few wrong moves could break your piece, so you better learn the art before investing.
Flower or Concentrate?
What type of material will you be using this for? If you’re more into flower you’ll want to look for a pipe that has an herb bowl and it can be any size with or without percolators. If you prefer that smooth tasty wax then you’ll want to get a smaller dab rig with minimal filtration. With the addition of some cannabis accessories you can use dab rigs for flower and vice versa but definitely taking into consideration what material you’re going to be consuming the most should have a big impact on which piece you get.
Quality Materials
When you’re choosing your perfect piece, make sure they are of the highest quality possible. Purchasing a piece made from durable material will make sure your investment lasts longer.
Matched Experience Level
You may be tempted to start with one of the expensive pieces, but we recommend you do a self-assessment about your experience with glassware. If you consider yourself a newbie, there are plenty of great water bongs under $100.
Once you gain some experience, you can level up and buy a more advanced one with ice catchers, percs, and multiple chambers. Always keep in mind that expensive waterpipes should be your choice only when you turn into a seasoned smoker.
