Do nectar collectors hurt?

With concentrates, the ideal rip requires the perfect temperature, the perfect amount of water, and the perfect sized piece. Typically to get the most flavorful and potent rips from your concentrate, you want your pieces to be on the smaller end of things. This allows you to really bring out every hidden note within the flavor of your concentrate. That being said, having a smaller piece does mean that the smoke has less time to cool off. This can make for a very harsh rip. Dabs in general hurt to take a lot more than flower. To prevent this, or at least mediate it a little bit, pay attention to the temperature of whatever nail you are using. Nectar collectors and dab straws typically hurt a little more than dab rigs because of their lack of water. Dab rigs have water to help diffuse your rips ever so slightly. Nectar collectors and dab straws do not feature water, typically. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part that remains to be true. This lack of water also can result in a harsher rip.
